Competitive boost in CS2: rank on a specific map

A guide to ordering a Competitive rank boost: why you need to choose a map, what to enter in the calculator and what happens after payment.

In short. Open “Boost Competitive” in CS2, choose “Initial rank”, “Final rank”, “Map” and the server. Click “Calculate the price”, compare the booster offers in the request, click “Choose” and pay. Each map needs a separate order.

Who this is for

Why you need to choose a map

  • In Competitive, your CS2 rank is tied to a specific map. That's why the calculator has a “Map” list.
  • At the time of writing, the list includes Dust 2, Mirage, Nuke and Ancient.
  • One order — one map. To raise your rank on several maps, place a separate order for each.
  • The ranks in the calculator go from Silver 1 to Global Elite, 18 in total.

What you need

  • A CS2 account and your current Competitive rank on the map you need.
  • For a solo boost — access to your account: your Steam login and password, a Steam Guard code or backup codes. For a party boost, no password is needed.
  • A Goranked account: sign in with Google or with a code sent to your email.
  • An order of at least the minimum amount. At the time of writing, it's 300 UAH, $5, €4, £3 or 2 zł, depending on the currency.

Steps

  1. Open the service. In the “All games” menu, choose CS2, then “Boost Competitive” (address /en/cs2/competitive-boost). The “Boost Competitive in Counter-Strike 2” page opens with the calculator and the “Your order” column.
  2. Choose “Initial rank” and “Final rank”. These are your current rank on the map and the rank you want. You can also change the range with the “Range” slider. The step price grows with the rank. At the time of writing, Gold Nova 1 → Master Guardian 1 without options costs about 22.6 €, and one step from Supreme Master First Class → Global Elite costs about 46 €. More details: How the boost price is calculated.
  3. Choose “Map”. Dust 2 is selected by default. The selected map appears in the “Your order” column in the “Map” row.
  1. Choose “Server”. Select the server you play on. It will be included in the request parameters.
  2. Tick the options. Available: “Select Time”, “Playing with Stream”, “Offline Mode”, “Turbo Mode 🚀”, “Play with Booster”, “Choose a map”. Hover over an option to see a tooltip. Surcharges: Additional boost options.
  3. Check “Your order”. Here you can see the ranks, the map, “Minimum order amount” and “Estimated price”. Instead of an estimated time, this service shows “-”: the booster will give the deadline in their offer.
  4. Click “Calculate the price”. If you're not signed in, a sign-in window opens first. Then “Creating request…” appears, and the request page opens. You can have only one open request per service.
  5. Wait for offers. The first offers usually arrive within a few minutes, and the page updates by itself. The request is valid for a few hours; the exact time is in the “Valid until” field.
  6. Compare the offers. Look at “Price”, “deadline”, rating and reviews. Boosters state their in-game level themselves. If needed, click “Chat” and discuss the terms. More details: Request page: how to read booster offers.
  7. Click “Choose”. The row gets the “Chosen” tag. You have 120 minutes to pay (at the time of writing), after which the selection is removed.
  8. Click “Pay”. At checkout, the “Total” row shows the booster's price. Promo codes don't apply, but you can use cashback. After payment, click “Go to the order”.

Important. Your choice in the “Map” list doesn't affect the estimated price. The “Choose a map” option (+35% at the time of writing) is separate: the list sets the map for the request, and the option additionally asks the booster to play only on that map.

What's next

  • The order gets the “In progress” status right away.
  • For a solo boost, you give account access in the order chat — see Handing over account access. With “Play with Booster”, you don't share your account; you agree on the playing time with the booster in the chat.
  • While a solo boost is in progress, don't log in to the account — see Rules during a boost.
  • When the booster finishes, the status changes to “Waiting for confirmation”. Check your rank on the map and click “Confirm completion” — see Confirm completion.

Important. “Estimated price” is only a guide. The booster names the final price. Promo codes don't apply to the booster's price, but you can use cashback.

FAQ

Can I raise my rank on several maps?

Yes, but each map needs a separate order. Place them one at a time: while a request for the service is open, “Calculate the price” opens it instead of creating a new one.

How is the “Map” list different from the “Choose a map” option?

The list sets the map for the request and doesn't affect the price. The “Choose a map” option adds +35% (at the time of writing) and additionally asks the booster to play only on that map.

How long does the boost take?

The booster gives the deadline in the “deadline” field of their offer. The calculator doesn't show an estimated time for this service.

Can I play together with the booster?

Yes, choose “Play with Booster”. Then the account isn't shared, and you agree on the playing time with the booster in the chat.

Is there a volume discount?

No, at the time of writing there isn't one for the Competitive boost.
