How to buy a skin

Buying a skin takes a few steps: choose a listing, place an order and pay. After payment, the skin is sent to your Steam Trade URL on Steam.

In short. On the listing page, click “BUY NOW”, check the total, choose a payment method and click “Pay”. An unpaid order stays valid for 24 hours. If you did not enter a Trade URL at checkout, add it on the order page after payment.

Who this is for

For anyone who wants to buy a CS2 skin on the Goranked market. You need an account to buy: if you are not signed in, the site will ask you to sign in.

What you need

  • A Goranked account.
  • A Steam Trade URL — you can also add it after payment. To find it, see Steam Trade URL.
  • A Steam account that meets Steam's recommendations — Steam account requirements.
  • A payment method: card, Apple Pay / Google Pay, PayPal or cryptocurrency.

Steps

  1. Open the catalog from the “Skins” item in the site header or the “Skins” block on the CS2 page (/en/cs2/skins). The list of listings opens.
  2. Open the listing you want. Check the float, pattern, stickers and the trade hold line.
  3. Click “BUY NOW”. If you are not signed in, a sign-in window appears — after you sign in, the purchase continues on its own. An order with the status “Awaiting Payment” is created, and the checkout page opens.
  4. Check the order: the image, the name, the “CS2 · Skins market” tag and the “Total”, “Platform fee” and “Total amount” lines.
  5. Paste the link into the “Steam Trade URL (optional — can be provided after payment)” field. If your Trade URL is saved in your profile, the field is already filled in.

  6. Choose a payment method — click the tile you need:

    • card (Stripe);
    • Apple Pay or Google Pay;
    • PayPal — in supported currencies;
    • “Pay by card” — via Whitepay, in USD;
    • “Pay with cryptocurrency”.
  7. Click “Pay”. You will be taken to the selected payment service. For card payments via Stripe, the amount on the payment page is shown in USD.
  8. Complete the payment. The “Thank you for your purchase!” page opens with the item name and the amount in $.
  9. Click “Enter Steam Trade URL (5)”. The order page opens: here you can enter or check your Trade URL and track the status.

Buy in one click

The listing page has a “Buy in one click” button — it lets you pay with Apple Pay or Google Pay right from the listing page. After payment, check that the Trade URL is set on the order page.

Price and payment

  • The price on the listing page is fixed and is not recalculated at checkout. Only the 3 % “Platform fee” is added to it.
  • The price is shown in the site currency, but you are charged in USD. Your bank may add its own conversion — see Currencies and exchange rates.
  • Cashback is not credited on skins, and promo codes do not apply.
  • If the market is temporarily unavailable, you will see a grey “Temporarily unavailable” button instead of the buy button.
  • If you click “BUY NOW” again within 15 minutes, the same unpaid order opens instead of a new one.
  • If someone else has already bought the listing, you will see “Product already purchased. Someone else placed the order earlier.” Choose another copy of the same skin.

Payment deadline and deleting an order

An unpaid order stays valid for 24 hours. After that, it gets the status “Payment time has expired”, and in your account dashboard it is marked “Overdue”. You can no longer pay for such an order — place a new one.

You can delete an unpaid order in “My orders” with the trash can button. The status changes to “Cancelled by the client”. A paid order cannot be deleted — you will see the message “A paid order cannot be deleted. Contact support.”

Important. Without a Trade URL, the skin will not be sent. If you did not enter the link at checkout, add it on the order page right after payment.

What's next

After payment, a manager creates a deal with the market — usually within a few hours during business hours. Then the seller sends a trade offer in Steam. FAQ

Can I pay without a Trade URL?

Yes, the field at checkout is optional. But the skin will not be sent until you add the link on the order page.

Why did my bank charge a different amount than I saw on the site?

You are charged in USD, and your bank may add its own conversion. A 3 % platform fee is also added at checkout.

I clicked “BUY NOW” twice. Do I now have two orders?

No. Within 15 minutes, clicking again opens the same unpaid order.

What happens if the listing is sold after I pay?

The system looks for an analogue of the same skin within the price you paid. If there is no analogue, support will offer a replacement or a refund.

I did not pay within 24 hours. What should I do?

Place the order again. An overdue order cannot be paid.
