Profile: name, nickname, phone, contacts, avatar

You change your profile details on the “Settings” page of your account dashboard. Here's how to update your nickname, phone, date of birth, avatar and contact details.

In short. Avatar → “Settings” → “Edit Profile”. Change the fields you need and click “Save”. Telegram, Discord and Whatsapp are added in the “Contact Information” block. You can't change your e-mail yourself — only through support.

  • To be signed in to your Goranked account.
  • For an avatar — a JPEG, PNG, GIF or WebP image up to 2 MB.

Steps

Change your nickname, phone and date of birth

  1. Click your avatar in the site header and select “Settings”. The settings page opens.
  2. In the “General” block, click “Edit Profile”. On a phone, the button is called “Edit”. The “Edit Profile” window opens on the right.
  3. Change the “Profile Name”. This is your nickname on the site.
  4. Enter your “Mobile phone”. The international format is best, for example +380…
  5. Pick your “Date of Birth” in the calendar.
  6. Click “Save”. The page reloads, and the new details appear in the “General” block.

There is no separate message confirming the save. Check your changes in the “General” block.

Change your avatar

  1. Open the “Edit Profile” window as described above.
  2. Click the round picture with the camera icon under “Avatar”. A file picker opens.
  3. Choose an image on your computer or phone.
  4. Click “Save”. The new avatar appears in your profile and in the site header.

File requirements:

  • format — JPEG, PNG, GIF or WebP;
  • file size — up to 2 MB;
  • image size — from 5×5 to 3000×3000 pixels.

The site crops the image to a 300×300 pixel square automatically. So it's best to choose a square photo with the main subject in the center. If the file doesn't meet the requirements, the site shows an error and the avatar doesn't change.

Add contacts

  1. On the “Settings” page, find the “Contact Information” block.
  2. Click the “Edit Profile” button to the right of the block title. On a phone, it's “Edit”. The “Edit Contact Information” window opens.
  3. Enter your Telegram as @nick, nick or a t.me/nick link.
  4. If you like, enter Discord and Whatsapp.
  5. Click “Save”. The contacts appear in the “Contact Information” block.

All three fields are optional. Contacts help a manager reach you faster about an order. The main communication still takes place in the chat on the site.

Important. In the Telegram field, enter your username, not your phone number. Otherwise the site shows: “Enter your Telegram username — @nick or a t.me/nick link.”

How to change your e-mail

You can't change your account e-mail yourself. In the “Edit Profile” window this field is grayed out, with a hint below it: “Please contact support if you need to change your email.” Contact support to change the address.

Important. The “Profile Name” must be unique. If the nickname is already taken, the site shows an error and the changes aren't saved. Choose a different nickname, for example by adding numbers.

FAQ

How often can I change my nickname?

As often as you like. The nickname must be unique and no longer than 255 characters.

My avatar won't upload. What should I do?

Check the format and size. HEIC photos and SVG files are not supported — save the image as JPEG or PNG. If the file is larger than 2 MB, compress it.

I sign in with Google and already have an avatar. Can I change it?

Yes. Upload a new image in the “Edit Profile” window and click “Save”.

Do I have to enter a phone number and contacts?

No. Phone, date of birth, Telegram, Discord and Whatsapp are optional fields.

I clicked “Save” but didn't see a message.

That's expected. The page simply reloads. Check the new details in the “General” block.
