Behavior Score boost in Dota 2

A guide for anyone who wants to raise their behavior and communication scores in Dota 2: what to enter in the calculator, how the estimated price is calculated and what happens after payment.

In short. Open “Boost of Decency” in Dota 2, set “Behavior Score” and “Communication Score” (current and desired values), “Your Rank” and the server. Click “Calculate the price” — boosters will send their prices and deadlines to the request. Choose an offer and pay.

Who this is for

  • Your Behavior Score in Dota 2 has dropped, and you want to raise it. According to the service page, the behavior score depends on reports, chat activity, disconnects from matches and so on.
  • According to the same page, a higher behavior score helps you get out of restrictions and play with friendlier teammates.
  • If you specifically need to play off low priority matches, see Clearing Low Priority in Dota 2.

What you need

  • A Dota 2 account and your current behavior and communication scores. You can see them in your game profile.
  • Willingness to give the booster access to your account: your Steam login and password, a Steam Guard code or backup codes. There's no party format for this service.
  • A Goranked account: sign in with Google or with a code sent to your email.
  • An order of at least the minimum amount. At the time of writing, it's 300 UAH, $5, €4, £3 or 2 zł, depending on the currency.

Steps

  1. Open the service. In the “All games” menu, choose Dota 2, then “Boost of Decency” (address /en/dota2/decency). The “Behavior Score Boost in Dota 2” page opens with the calculator and the “Your order” column.
  2. Set “Behavior Score”. Enter the current value in the left field and the desired value in the right one. Change them with the minus and plus buttons, by typing a number or with the “Range” slider. The scale goes from 1 to 12000 (at the time of writing).
  3. Set “Communication Score”. Enter the current and desired values the same way.
  1. Choose “Your Rank”. This is the rank of your Dota 2 account — from Herald to Immortal. It adds a small surcharge to the price.
  2. Choose “Server”. Select the server you play on. It will be included in the request parameters.
  3. Tick the options. For a behavior score boost, “Select Time” (+20%), “Offline Mode” (free) and “Turbo Mode 🚀” (+20%) are available — surcharges at the time of writing. Hover over an option to see a tooltip. More details: Additional boost options.
  4. Check “Your order”. Here you can see the order parameters, “Minimum order amount” and “Estimated price”. How the price is calculated is explained in the section below.
  5. Click “Calculate the price”. If you're not signed in, a sign-in window opens first. Then “Creating request…” appears, and the request page opens. You can have only one open request per service.
  6. Wait for offers. The first offers usually arrive within a few minutes, and the page updates by itself. The request is valid for a few hours; the exact time is in the “Valid until” field.
  7. Compare the offers. Look at “Price”, “deadline”, and the booster's rating and reviews. If needed, click “Chat” and discuss the terms. More details: Request page: how to read booster offers.
  8. Click “Choose”. The row gets the “Chosen” tag. You have 120 minutes to pay (at the time of writing), after which the selection is removed.
  9. Click “Pay”. At checkout, the “Total” row shows the booster's price. Promo codes don't apply, but you can use cashback. After payment, click “Go to the order”.

How the price is calculated

  • The estimated price is calculated in steps — points of score increase.
  • The two scores don't add up. One shared range is used: from the lower of the two starting values to the higher of the two target values.
  • A rank surcharge is added to the step price. At the time of writing, it's from 2 to 10%, depending on the rank.
  • An example at the time of writing (Herald, no options): 2000 → 5000 — about 139 €; an increase of 100 points — about 4.65 €.
  • There's no volume discount for this service. The booster names the final price in the request — see How the boost price is calculated.

Important. Go by the time in the “deadline” field of the booster's offer. The FAQ on the service page gives an average duration of 1 to 3 days, and it depends on the volume and options.

What's next

  • The order gets the “In progress” status right away.
  • You give account access in the order chat: your Steam login and password, plus the Steam Guard code when the booster asks for it, or backup codes. See Handing over account access.
  • While the boost is in progress, don't log in to the account — see Rules during a boost. You can pause the boost through support.
  • When the booster finishes, the status changes to “Waiting for confirmation”. Check the scores in your game profile and click “Confirm completion” — see Confirm completion.

Important. There's no party format for the behavior score boost: the booster plays on your account. About the risks of sharing your account: Solo boost or party boost.

FAQ

How is “Behavior Score” different from “Communication Score”?

These are two separate scores in your Dota 2 profile, so the calculator has a separate range for each. Enter the values you see in the game.

Where can I see my current scores?

In your Dota 2 profile. If you're not sure which values to enter, ask the booster in the request chat before paying.

Can I raise just one score?

Yes. But the estimated price is calculated on the shared range of both scores, so check “Estimated price” before creating the request. The booster will name the final price.

How long does a behavior score boost take?

The FAQ on the service page gives an average duration of 1 to 3 days. The booster gives the exact deadline in the offer.

Is the result guaranteed?

The “Warranty” block on the service page says: “If the order isn't fulfilled, we'll refund your money or offer an equivalent solution.”

Can I play during the boost?

No, don't log in to the account while the booster is working. If you need the account at certain hours, choose “Select Time”.
