Order chats with your booster or seller
The order chat is the main way to talk to your booster or seller. Here you clarify details, share login details and ask how the order is going.
In short. All chats are in the avatar menu, under “Chats”. Every order page also has a chat. Write only here: contacts and links are blocked, and the conversation serves as evidence in a dispute. If the chat is closed, create a ticket.
Who this is for
- You paid for a boost, and a booster has already been assigned.
- You bought a game account and want to clarify something with the seller.
- You want to ask how your order is going. Ask such questions in the chat, not in a ticket.
You can also chat before payment: in a boost request — with each booster who left an offer (Chat with a booster before payment), on an account page — with the seller (Account page).
A ticket is something else. It is an official support case for when the rules are broken (Order ticket).
What you need
- You need to be signed in to your Goranked account.
- A paid order. For a boost — an assigned booster. While one is being found, you'll see “Waiting for a booster” in the “Chats” section.
- Files, if you want to show something: up to 5 files per message, up to 15 MB each. Formats: jpg, jpeg, png, webp, gif, pdf, txt, log, zip, mp4, mov.
Where to find the chat
| Order | Where the chat is | Who is in the chat |
|---|---|---|
| Boost from a request | Order page → “Order chat” block, “Open full chat” link | You, the booster, support |
| Boost package or special offer | Order page → “Chat with the booster” button | You, the booster, support |
| Game account | Order page → “Chat with the seller” | You, the seller, support |
| Boost request, before payment | Request page → “Chat” in the offer row | You and each booster separately |
Support can write in the order chat at any time.
Steps
- Open the chat list. Click your avatar in the header and choose “Chats”. The “Order Chats” list opens, with order numbers and the number of new messages.
- Choose an order. The chat opens. At the top you'll see “Order #…”, the other person's status (“online” or “Last seen”) and a “Details” link to the order page.
- Write a message. Type your text in the “Your message” field and click “Submit”.
- Attach a file if needed. Click the paperclip next to the message field and choose your files.
- Check whether your message was read. Next to your messages, one tick means “Unread”, two ticks mean “Read”. When the other person is typing a reply, you'll see “is typing...”.
In a boost order from a request, you can also write right on the order page, in the “Order chat” block. New messages there are separated by an “Unread” label.
Telegram notifications
The “Chats” section has a “Get chat notifications in Telegram” banner with an “Enable notifications” button. Once you connect the Telegram bot, new messages arrive in Telegram while you're away from the site. Details — Notifications.
What you'll see in the chat
- “Conversation from the request”. After you pay for a request, your conversation with the booster moves to the order chat with this label. You don't need to write everything again.
- “Goranked (automatic notification)”. This is how system messages are signed: status changes, refunds and so on.
- Contact warning. If a message contains an @-handle, a phone number, an e-mail or a link, it may not be sent. Remove the contact and send it again.
Chat rules
- Talk only in the order chat. We can't see conversations outside the site and can't protect you there.
- You can share your login, password and Steam Guard code with the booster you chose — only in the order chat. Details — Sharing account access.
- Don't ask for a refund in the chat — support handles refunds (Refunds).
- If the booster is rude or asks for your contacts, tell support. If they don't reply, create a ticket from the order page.
Important. Don't move to third-party messengers, even if you're asked to. Outside the site, you'll have nothing to back up the conversation if a dispute comes up.
When the chat closes
| Order | When it closes | What you'll see |
|---|---|---|
| Boost | Statuses “Cancelled by the client”, “Cancelled due to technical reasons”, “Client created a duplicate”, “Full refund”, “Partial refund”, “Payment time has expired”. Also after “completed” — except for orders from a request | “The chat for this order is closed” |
| Game account | After “completed”: your confirmation, or automatically after 14 days | “The chat for this order is closed. Please contact support.” |
| Request | After the order is paid or the request is closed | “The request is closed — you can no longer write here.” |
Important. If the chat is closed but you still have a question, create a ticket. For an account with the “completed” status — in the “Have a question or issue after completion?” row. Support can reopen the account chat.
FAQ
Where are all my chats?
Click your avatar and choose “Chats”. You'll find the “Order Chats” list there.
Why is there no chat with the booster?
The chat appears once a booster is assigned. While the search is on, the “Chats” section shows “Waiting for a booster”.
How is a chat different from a ticket?
A chat is quick contact with your booster or seller. A ticket is an official support case for when the rules are broken.
Can I send a video?
Yes. You can send mp4 or mov files to the order chat — up to 5 files, up to 15 MB each.
The booster isn't replying. What should I do?
Create a ticket from the order page with the topic “Performer is not responding”. Details — Boost problems.
Why wasn't my message sent?
Most often it's because of a contact or a link in the text. Remove them and try again.
